The duck fat potatoes small plate at Kindred is one of the best potato dishes I have had in recent memory. While I may usually go for something a bit more unique at a place like Kindred, I was with a group and I figured I'd get something that would be easy to share and that everyone would enjoy, along with our individual entrees and a few other shared plates. These did not disappoint! They have that ideal crispy skin you want in a fried potato, a fluffy interior, and perfect seasoning. The oil the potatoes are fried in does more than just cook them - it adds a really nice flavor as well. The aioli that accompanied the potatoes was bright and creamy. Everything is so good at Kindred it is hard to say that you HAVE to order such a seemingly simple dish, but these potatoes are definitely worth getting as one of several smaller plates to munch on.
