Authentic cajun food at its finest. If you're in New Orleans for a couple days, Coop's is a must. The waiter basically stopped in his tracks when I ordered a shrimp po'boy and made me order this, instead. I'm glad he did. Although I couldn't (still can't) pronounce this big time bite, I could definitely taste it in all its glory that night. Tasso (a delicious smoked, cajun seasoning ham that they make in-house), and shrimp, tossed in a light but spicy and flavorful cream sauce sits atop a generous amount of chicken breast and it's all served alongside creole green beans that taste like they were cooked in and/or around a lot of bacon. So much better than a boring po'boy. This is the perfect dish to consume before hitting the French Quarter and ordering your first hurricane of the night
