Grand Central Market is one of my favorite places in LA - not just one of my favorite places to eat - but places, in general. The people watching is almost as great as the food! This food hall is located in DTLA and overflowing with terrific food options, from pizza to seafood and everything in between...it's tough to pick a favorite, but the chicharron con frijol (pork and beans) pupusa at Sarita's Pupusaria is right up there. Pupusas are a Salvadorian dish and calling them addicting would be an understatement. They make the thick corn tortillas right in front of you and there are dozens of fillings to choose from, but the chicharron con frijol is my favorite. It's served with a refreshing, crunchy slaw and it wouldn't taste right without being topped with some of their salsa/orange sauce...I have no idea what's in it, but it adds a nice flavorful kick to this bigtime bite. This is a must-try next time you find yourself in DTLA! Also, if you’re not already convinced this place is bigtime, a scene from La La Land was filmed at the counter, here...#themoreyouknow
