I don't know what this was...I'm told it was tuna collar? Tuna cheek maybe? I don't know and it doesn't matter. What I do know is that is was the single best piece of sushi I've ever had, and maybe the single best bite of food -- of any kind -- that I've ever had. I'm nowhere near skilled or eloquent enough to describe this dish, so I won't even try. The HOF rating exists for a reason: put this on your bucket list, find a way to get to No. 1 Kazoku, have a seat at the sushi bar and start ordering tuna nigiri. I'm sure that no matter what part of the fish you get, you'll be amazed. Pro tip: don't have a full lunch at Bee Bee's, then 1/4 of a pastrami sandwich at The Hat (both are within a 10 minute drive) before coming here...only a crazy person would suggest that.
