Three hearty slices of freshly baked pie on a serving plate with a scoop of creamy ice cream, all for $13. That’s what you get in a Baked Pie Company pie flight. It’s like a beer flight but with pie, where you can enjoy three different varieties. I highly recommend the honey pecan, blueberry crumb and sweet potato. The pecan is the house specialty, topped with candied pecans, so sweet and crunchy atop the slice of warm, gooey filling. The crusts are all flaky and slightly moist, and each piece is more than the ‘sliver’ the menu suggests it is. You can share the flight, or several, at a table, or you can enjoy it all for yourself. Either way, it’s one of the best deals in desserts anywhere, and for all these reasons and more, the flight is indeed a Big Time Bite.
