Grilled Whole Fish at Kokkari in San Francisco, CA. I loved Kokkari's version of this dish, as the whole sea bass was deboned and perfectly grilled so the skin had a tad of crispness and texture while the meat inside was nice and moist. I've had whole fish at other places before and the fish comes out a bit bland and not nearly as flavorful. It came with horta (Greek greens) and the seasoning was proportioned just right to give it terrific flavor while still allowing you to taste the richness of the sea bass. Kokkari is a live and bustling place packed with both locals and tourists - perfect for a business lunch or dinner or a night out with friends or family.
