A burger at a pizza spot? I know. Strolled into a pizza place intending to try a couple slices of cheese pizza, but once I started talking to the Dardan, the restaurant owner’s son, I became receptive. The European Burger’s homemade bread bun is what makes this heavy filling bad boy special. It’s the same dough they use on their pizza. Something to highlight is the clam shell opening because the inner deliciousness won’t fall/slide out the backside when you’re holding it up to eat. As the burger cooks on the grill, the bun is rising in the oven. Swiss cheese melted on a patty with mushrooms, mayo, bacon, grilled onions, lettuce, and tomato all on a fluffy pizza dough bun. I think it’s time for a nap now.
