Second time visiting Hops and I went big with the 12 oz. Schwarma Burger. I saw this written on their chalkboard behind the bar as their featured special available for a limited time. Seasoned with a unique blend of spices and topped with tzatizki sauce, shredded lettuce, tomato, onions, and feta cheese on a toasted brioche bun. Served with fried pita chips and a side of babaganoush. Double pattied, you’ll be required to be on team big bites to take down this colossal beast. Hops does make really good burgers and serves only certified angus beef along with locally grown ingredients. I’d love to see them feature a peanut butter specialty burger. Call me wild, but I’ve seen it done before and it needs to be offered in more hamburger houses. Would also like to try their desserts next visit - banana pudding cake sounds enticing.
