The Cinderella Bakery is a Russian bakery on Balboa Street that offers both great breakfast and lunch options. One of their popular items is the piroshki which is a meat filled pastry much like a spanish empanada. They have a few different kinds (spinach & feta cheese, beef and gorgonzola, etc.). Today I went with the basic beef piroshki. It is soft and moist with a savory filling. Simple but delicious.
