Here we go. Pizza review time. White pizza - ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, and fresh garlic. Simplicity special pie here at Giacomo’s, my favorite Italian restaurant in town. Superb food, chill environment, and wonderful/friendly staff. Perfect post-golf eatery located conveniently in middle radius to numerous courses nearby. The white pizza has been on my hit list and I’m glad I finally got to try it. Have you ever seen those cheese pull pizza videos in slow mo? This had all of that effect, oh my goodness that mozzarella cheese was stringier than confetti party poppers. Ricotta cheese base and mozzarella cooked on top, this is one of those beautiful relationships that you never want to see end in a break up. The fresh garlic flavor squeezed and expelled over the top as the flavor seeped in (they were adamant it didn’t come from a jar). I really enjoyed this za. The crust at Giacomo’s is so airy at the edges and the underneath is plush allowing for jaw satisfying chews. Would be big time if Giacomo’s offered to flavor your crust. If you want a double dose of cheese without any sweet tomato sauce, this ones for you. Just look how pure this za is. This thing was OD’d with cheese and I love the little orangish craters that form on top of the pie. This bad boy scores in at - 8.2/10.
