L'Osier is a 2 Michelin starred restaurant in the Ginza District. I'm fascinated by Japanese chefs putting their spin on French dishes. This isn't the case here. The Chef, Olivier Chaignon, is using Japanese ingredients to put his own spin on the cuisine of his heritage. This raspberry dessert, which also includes lychee and rose ice cream, is sophisticated, and in some ways, a work of art. The service is very formal as is the restaurant interior.
