Zilla Sake House is my second favorite place to get sushi in PDX, behind only Nodoguro. The co-owners are Kate Koo and Sam Saltos. The place I head to on the menu every time I am there are the daily specials. The picture includes the following sushi: gaper clam from Oregon, skipjack tuna from Hawaii, and cutlassfish from Japan. Of the people who make sushi at Zilla, Kate is my first choice with Sam and Fukuko are close behind. My favorite aspect of Zilla is that one can order a la carte which I find truly convenient.
