Alain Ducasse's Le Meurice is one of the most iconic restaurants in the world. And Baba au Rhum from Alain is considered one of the world's most iconic desserts. I had a choice of 3 premium rhums from which to choose. I selected a 15 year old El Dorado. The pastry chef is the world-renowned Cedric Grolet. The only negative is the cost which was around $40. I do not hesitate to say that this Baba is the quintessential one to eat. It had better be given the cost.
