The world needs to know about his dessert and this new restaurant in the Highland Park neighborhood in Los Angeles. To deprive the world of knowing about Partido and their amazing food, especially the Ube Churro, would be selfish and cruel. I cannot remember the last time I have had any dessert-- or anything-- as delicious as the Ube Churro.
It's not just because of this new ube craze/phase/trend that is going on that makes me ooh and aah about the Ube Churro. This dessert is perfect. Dusted with cinnamon and sugar on the outside, dip it in the pandan sauce for a slight sweet kick. The pandan sauce has a very slight fruit and condensed milk taste. Pop it in your mouth and you will be treated to a cinnamon-sugar crisp that quickly melts into a buttery texture goodness.
