The Living Kitchen is a raw vegan place here in Charlotte. Went here for lunch today with my good friend and coworker David Kaplan. To get started we went with the tricolor hummus as an appetizer. At the heart of this appetizer, is the three scoops of sunflower hummus. Lightly covered with sprouts, each scoop of hummus with a slightly different flavor (lemon-parsley, sweet curry and roasted chipotle). If you get along with hummus like I do, you will enjoy this unique appetizer. Sweet curry my favorite of the three scoops. It's served with fresh veggies and your choice of toasted cranberry-walnut bread or sun-dried tomato sesame crackers. Great way to start our meal today!
