Advice when visiting FIG: SAVE ROOM FOR DESSERT! As easy as it is to fill your stomach on appetizers and entrees, you will thank me later for saving room for the Warm Berries and Frangipane. A fruit-baked dessert is typically up my wheelhouse but when the waitress described the frangipane as "similar to pouring cinnamon toast crunch over a warm pastry," I lost interest in exploring any other option on the menu. A thick, sugar filled crust covers the warm berry-filled center to compliment each other perfectly. The dish lived up to the description and will go down as one of the best desserts I've ever had.
