Lamb Lollipops at Peninsula Grill in Charleston, SC. I'm not a huge lamb guy (except for Jeremy Lamb), but I could eat good lamb lollipops all day long. In fact, at my last birthday bash, I think I devoured at least 20 of them. Peninsula Grill's version was outstanding, as the lollipops were cooked to a perfect medium rare temperature and the seasoning they used gave it great flavor. Topped with a tasty onion marmalade, they were the perfect size - big enough to grab with your hand and eat a few bites but not so big that you have to use a knife. Great service and attention to detail. I also loved their filet mignon steak. Open for breakfast and dinner (no lunch) and open late (until 11 pm) on Friday and Saturday. First time at Peninsula Grill, and I will definitely be back.
