I found a new mexican restaurant today courtesy of some old friends. The Matador in downtown Redmond only 10 minutes from my home and a great place for creative and unique mexican cuisine. Today's rotation appetizer was fried Brussel sprouts. Fried in a savory sauce and decorated with lime and cotija cheese this was a great way to start my lunch. It's not often you can leave a mexican restaurant not feeling greasy and overstuffed but today I managed to do both. Great environment in downtown Redmond and a definite go-to place for future meals.
