Located in the 7th Arrondissement, around the corner from my flat, La Taverna is my absolute favorite neighborhood restaurant and the Tagliatelle Flambée is my go to order.
While the restaurant is Italian, we all know the French know their cheese and the Tagliatelle Flambée proves it. Cheese people, CHEESE!
Housemade pasta is flambéd in a parmesan wheel with a touch of sage. If you’ve never had pasta flambéd in a cheese wheel OMG you’re missing out!
The pasta is cooked perfectly, the parmesan is creamy & the sage gives it that extra something. One would think this would be an extremely rich, heavy dish but it is not. You’ll feel full but have the perfect amount of space to enjoy another glass of wine or dessert. Bon appetite!
