This is a dish I've been chasing for five years ever since I tasted a Miso marinated cod at the exact same restaurant. I've gone to cities all over the place looking for a miso marinated fish dish. It had to be a fish that was firm but very open to absorbing flavors. Cod or Black Cod does this very will but now I'd adding sablefish to that lineup. It's firm, it's flaky and the miso adds so much umami to the dish. They included some nuts with the dish but you didn't need it. All you need is this fish. Ever. Like for the rest of your life.
